Privacy
In the interest of creative dexterity and expressive fluidity, the editors want to keep the SCRIPTjr.nl ("the site") privacy and comments policy relatively streamlined. Whatever the following policy lacks in ponderosity, though, it does outline the privacy rights of commenters and define the ways editors may interact with comments on the site. As such, SCRIPTjr.nl and Studio Hyperset, Inc. ("SH,") suggest commenters develop a certain familiarity with them.
These terms may be edited and augmented at any time with or without warning. Commenters are encouraged to review them regularly.
ONE
By posting a comment on SCRIPTjr.nl, you agree to be bound by these terms.
TWO
SCRIPTjr.nl content, including comments, will almost certainly be indexed by search bots and, therefore, have the potential to be read, printed, and otherwise distributed around the world without the commenter's consent. Commenters agree not to hold SCRIPTjr.nl or SH, liable for any unintended use of any comments they post.
THREE
SCRIPTjr.nl is a public forum with few restrictions on access. If you chose to post a comment on the site, you concurrently make certain concessions to publicity and, therefore, limit your personal privacy and that of your intellectual property (i.e., your comment). Nevertheless, SCRIPTjr.nl and SH will never collect, sell, or otherwise distribute user information (such as login information or email addresses) that isn't otherwise publicly available on the site or without the permission of the user(s).
Likewise, all comments remain the intellectual property of the commenter to edit, distribute, and otherwise benefit from as s/he wishes. However, SCRIPTjr.nl editors and/or SH may edit the comments for brevity or content. SCRIPTjr.nl and SH may also directly or indirectly financially benefit from the site and its content (including comments), but commenters relinquish all claims to such earnings. Potential sources of revenue include -- but aren't limited to -- advertising opportunities, publishing arrangements, for-hire design projects, and the outright sale of SCRIPTjr.nl and/or SH.
FOUR
Commenters operate and comments circulate on SCRIPTjr.nl at the sole discretion of editors and SH officials. The editors may, without warning or commenter consent, delete or edit comments in the interest of guiding site development and cultivating and maintaining the SCRIPTjr.nl brand.
As this implies, all posts are subject to review by SCRIPTjr.nl editors and SH officials whose decisions are final.
FIVE
If SCRIPTjr.nl editors decide a comment or series of comments is/are blatantly offensive, in purposeless bad taste, or otherwise without redeeming merit, the post(s) will be removed. Commenters who routinely post such content, and otherwise engage in offensive or abusive behavior, will have their posts deleted and their user profiles banned.
SCRIPTjr.nl wants to encourage a free, expressive, and censor-light creative environment but, at the same time, has no interest in facilitating the dissemination of hate speech, exploitative sexuality, or any other sort of vacuous negativity. As a journal, SCRIPTjr.nl has an explicit editorial policy against such things.
SIX
Just as the SCRIPTjr.nl editors maintain the right to ban any user or delete/edit any comment at any time for any reason they deem appropriate, any user may request his/her comments be deleted at any time for any reason s/he deems appropriate.
Requests for comment removal should be sent to [email protected].
